The system is all based around a Computer with a Network card / Router and a small Switching hub. This network then feeds a Butler Ethernet to DMX Gateway and with a 24V power supply is capable of driving 4 panels. For every additional 4 panels you will need a Butler Ethernet to DMX Gateway and a 24V power supply. You will then need to program the butlers using the DMX software as a live show. You can also download via the Computer a program to the Butler units which then allow stand alone operation without the Computer, however the Ethernet network is still required to synchronise all the panels.
